Suffolks desert heroes Dick Partridge and Keith Parker mastered
everything one of the worlds most gruelling endurance tests
could throw at them but they couldnt find their way home!

to finish the Total Dakar Rally for more than a decade in their homespun
Isuzu Trooper. But when they returned to Dakar they found their slim
budget had dried up completely and it took an SOS call to Ipswich
businessman Ray Walters of Orwell Motor Cycles to get them home.

by arranging our plane tickets home, said Dick.
Ray even picked them up at Stansted Airport to transport them back
to Ipswich on the final leg of a journey which had more incidents
