Where did the camera man come from ? He just crawled out. This was 1997 day 3 and miles from anywhere ! A rocky track in Niger during the 1991 event.

Racing across the plains of Libya in 1990. A fast track in Tunisia on the first African stage of the 1989 event. This was our first ever Dakar stage. It was the rather muddy prologue stage on the outskirts of Paris in 1988.
