Dakar Photographs - 1989
 

A fast track in Tunisia on the first African stage of the 1989 event. A steep sand dune descent during 1989. The 1989 attempt ended here due to rear axle failure.
After 3 days of well deserved rest we were pleased to be picked up and taken to Agadez by the helicopter crew pictured.
